Abby Hendrix would do anything to help with her beloved sister’s wedding, even play tour guide to the off-puttingly brilliant—and unexpectedly gorgeous—brother of the groom. She’s a small-town schoolteacher; he’s a gifted surgeon. Nothing intimidating about that! She’ll just ask him to help her plan a top secret surprise for the wedding. No pressure. Joaquin Kincaid has always been book-smart and people-awkward, and Abby’s sweet and social nature triggers an unexpected yearning inside him. His whole life, he’s been an outsider, while she’s so popular she’s able to convince an entire town to go along with her wild ideas. For the first time ever, he’s met a woman who accepts him as he is, quirks and all, and he feels himself falling in love. Could Abby love him, too? Or, when she discovers the real reason he came to Fool’s Gold, will he lose her forever? I was so happy to be back in Fool's Gold for a visit. I really enjoyed this series and the characters we've all met. A Fool'

What’s a few orgasms between friends? After a disastrous breakup, paramedic Madison Petrov isn’t looking for love—she just wants to put the pieces of her life back together. Easier said than done, given the hit her confidence has taken. And now with her sister’s wedding looming, all of the scars Madison thought had healed feel fresh and new. Levi Prescott’s been through a lot in his life, including losing his father at a young age. But enduring that loss has taught him to go after what he wants, and what he wants is his partner, Madison. Smart, feisty, beautiful Madison who he’s wanted for a year now. Who he’ll do anything to have in his bed and in his life. Including agreeing to a potentially risky friend with benefits arrangement. The more time she spends with Levi, the more Madison feels the cracks in her broken heart start to heal. After all, he’s gorgeous, confident, and amazing in bed. But no matter how much chemistry they have, she doesn’t know if she’s willing to risk her heart

Feature Friday

Image
Welcome back to #featurefriday. Here's the  link  to the schedule for our #featurefriday posts.  This week is about #fallingbehind Instead of talking about a book or series, I'm falling behind on I decided to talk about the fact that I can never catch up on posting reviews. Part of the problem is that at times I can read very quickly. The other part is that I don't like to write too many reviews one after another so that they don't sound too much alike. So my goal for this year is to catch up on some of them. Fingers crossed I can do it.

Must Read

I totally loved this one. I can't say how much I do. If you haven't yet read it you really must. The whole series is so good! I might have to read them again. Any of you read her?

Novella Review: Colt by Lori Foster

Colt Guthrie’s high school sweetheart left town six years ago without a backward look. Charish almost broke him then, and he doesn’t plan to let her finish the job now that she’s suddenly back in Clearbrook. The only thing he wants from Charish is closure. But grown-up Charish is tempting as hell, and with her compassion for an injured stray dog, there’s no denying the way she still gets under Colt’s skin. Letting Colt go was the hardest thing Charish ever did. Keeping him at arm’s length now runs a close second. Their chemistry is explosive, despite his wariness. But when Colt learns the real reason she’s back, will he be the one to walk away—or can this sizzling summer be the start of something entirely new? I was so happy when I spotted this book. I loved Colt in his uncle's and father's book and was happy when he got his own. This is a second chance for him and Cherish and I was glad for it. You didn't really think that much about their relationship before other than th
