About Me

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog, Romancing the Readers. I started it back in May of 2012 when after 14 years of working at a new/used bookstore ended. I loved my time there and I really didn't want it to end. My favorite part was talking about books, so it started this blog. of course, in the beginning, I had no clue what I was doing or the lingo. After a lot of mistakes, I'm still no closer to knowing what I'm doing, but at least I'm having a great time not knowing!

I'm sure you feel the same way as me, books are very important in my life. Because of them, I've met some wonderful people. Back in 2012, I became an Avon Addict:

I've met so many great bloggers, readers, authors, and members of the Avon team! I was so honored to be invited to join such a wonderful group of fellow bloggers and readers.

Since then my blog has gotten bigger and I've been lucky enough to join a few very good tour groups. They keep me very busy and you very informed.

I read so many books last year but here are some of the all-time favorites I read in 2021
1. Breaking Badger by Shelly Laurenston
2. Badger to the Bone by Shelly Laurenston
3. Their Rancher Protector by Sasha Summers
4. Don't Play with Odin by Cynthia Eden
5. The Promise Kept by Maggie Mae Gallagher
6. Her Renegade Cowboy by Lora Leigh
7. Coming Home to Seashell  by Miranda Liasson
8. The Last Carolina Sister by Michelle Major
9. Stupid Love by Tara Wyatt
10. The Inn on Sweetbriar Lane by Jeannie Chin

Some of my all-time favorite authors are:
Julie Garwood
Jill Shalvis
Susan Mallery

Jennifer Ashley
Almost all of Avon authors
Beth Ciotta

There are so many more that I really don't have room for. Just keep an eye on my blog and you'll know which ones I really like.

The books I review come from different places. Some I've purchased, and some are provided by authors or publishers in exchange for an honest review. I always tell you where I received the books at the bottom of my review. No matter how I've received the books I will always write my honest thoughts about them, even if those thoughts are not good ones. At no time have  I received monetary compensation for any of my reviews.

  1. If you are not much of a cook, we bet you will find these yellow citrus fruits at your nearest grocery store. The best way to get all the benefits from lemons is to squeeze in half of a lemon into a glass of eight to sixteen ounces of water and sip on it. Water dilutes the acidic taste of the lemons, which not many can handle, and also encourages urination more, which is always a bonus when you want to flush out the toxins. For further convenience, make a jug of lemon detox drink and sip on it all day or take it with you on the go. Repeat this process daily, as many times as possible, before the drug test. Not only will you be set for the test, but you might as well lose some pounds and get glowing skin in the process. Fresh juices, sports drinks, detox fluids, and water in large amounts are the key to flushing out the THC remnants from your body, right? Similarly, cranberry juice is undeniably another classic, and a beloved drink people use before a drug test. We cannot recommend this slightly tart but sweet juice enough. The synthetic urine kits we reviewed are good for sudden screening. Moreover, the foaming of these artificial sample solutions mimics real human urine. The formula of a highly reliable synthetic urine kit lies in the components. Human urine consists of several compounds, including sodium, chlorine, potassium, urea, uric acid, creatinine, etc. So, we confirmed whether the constituents of the synthetic urine kits resemble that of real urine. Our top five synthetic urine kits are manufactured under strict vigilance at GMP-certified laboratories and then stored under optimum conditions before commercialization. We do not want customers to face any inconvenience with synthetic urine kits. A quality synthetic urine kit is safe for your body and easy to use.
