What I'm Reading Now

I picked Second Chance At The Sugar Shack. I've read this author before and enjoyed her writing. Fingers crossed on this one.

Sin Undone by Larissa Ione

I looked at the copyright on this book and screamed. How have I gotten so far behind? It's time to catch up. If you haven't figured it out yet, I will spell it out. I'm reading Sin Undone by Larissa Ione. Once I finish this I can go on to her new series. I do enjoy her books so this won't be a hardship.

Characters: Evie Stryker Dante Jefferson I know I always gush when I talk about a book written by Susan Mallery but I can't help myself. I love the way she writes a story. She had the ability to make you feel like your part of the story. You feel things when you read her. Sometimes good, but there are times when you really don't care for one of her characters but you still can't stop yourself from reading about them. In this book you get Evie's story. At times throughout the book you really want to yell at her family. In fact, there were many times I did just that. Okay, I was really yelling at a book, but it felt the same. The thing that made you sigh was that Dante always walked around trying to make her life easier. They are so perfect for each other. Do yourself a favor and buy this book. You won't be sorry.

The Dirty Girls Book Club                               by                          Savanna Fox Characters: Georgia Malone              Woody Hanrahan We picked this book for our anniversary book club meeting. The title was the clincher. I've read books by Savanna Fox but in her AKA name of Susan Lyons so I was looking forward to it. Sadly, for me, this book didn't have a happy ending, or I should say that was the only part of the book I liked.  To start with I felt that Georgia was cold and belittling. She acted like Woody was a bum off the street with no manners. In the beginning of the book she tells him more then once how to speak the right way. She even goes so far as to tell him about his eating habits. By the time I was half the way done with this book I wanted to killer her. The other sad thing is, that there was very little about the book club and the other women in it. I do have to admit I liked Woody, he was a nice man that was walked al

I'm reading my book club book right now and am wondering do you every find that some times it's hard to get into the book because you have to read it? I do. Sometimes I can't wait, but other times it's a pain in the backside.
