The Lady Is A Vamp by Lynsay Sands

Image The Lady is a Vamp is book 17 of the Argeneau series. This a wonderful series about the Argeneau family and their friends. This time up its Jeanne Louise Argeneau turn at finding a mate, which she does in Paul Jones . Of course no good love affair would be without it complication and The Lady is a Vamp has a ton. It's a enjoy ride of twists and turns as they work together to fix all the problems in their lives. You also get to visit with past characters that we've all fallen in love with. This is a must read! Happy reading!

The Lady Most Willing by Julia Quinn, Eloisa James & Connie Brockway

Image The Lady Most Willing starts off with four girls and a Duke being kidnapped by Taren Ferguson . Taren's  brilliant plan is to kidnap the ladies as choices for his two nephews to marry.  Of course things don't always work out the way you want them too, or do they. Each author wrote about a couple and carried on with the plot of the story. The move from author to author is seamless, it reads like it was written by one author.  It's a must read for historical readers. Happy reading!

We have a winner!

I would like to congratulate Julie Hinz, the winner of Romancing the Readers Avon Addicts Blog Hop!

A Cowboy for Christmas by Lori Wilde

Image I've been a reader of Lori Wilde for a very long time. I enjoy her gentle humor and her wonderful characters. This one, of all the Jubilee Texas book, is the most touching. In it Lissette Moncrief has to deal with a husband who has just passed, a child who's losing his hearing and a brother-in-law she knew nothing about. Rafferty Jones is the perfect person to help her with all the issues she's dealing with. He's a nice guy that's rock solid. This is a feel good book for the holidays. Happy reading!

Avon Addict's Blog Hop & Giveaway

Where has the year gone? It seems like yesterday that I was filling out a form to become a Avon Addict . I can still remember the day when I received the email saying that I was excepted. Being me of course, I hadn't the slightest idea what I was reading at first. Then, shock and disbelieve set in and I gave a little shout. Luckily I was alone. I've always been a fan of Avon Romance's , but this past year I have found even more authors to love. Here's a few of my all time favorites that I think you might love. Lyndsay Sands : I've loved her for a very long time. I read both her paranormals and historicals. There's always humor in her books. Kerrelyn Sparks : She's a great paranormal author that writes great characters and has a ton of humor in her books. Rachel Gibson : A wonderful contemporary author that writes with a huge amount of humor in her books. She's always worth readi

Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis

Image As a long time reader of Jill Shalvis, I can without question that  I love how she writes her stories. She writes about wonderful characters that you can't help  but liking. Forever and a Day is book 6 in the Lucky Harbor Series . The series as a whole has been great. In Forever and a Day you get to read about Josh Scott , his son Toby and his sister Anna . If their lives wasn't confusing enough, in walks Grace Brooks . Grace is hired to be Josh's dog walker/nanny. Their lives become inter-tangled in the best possible ways. This story is a must read. Remember this is book 6 so there are books in the series before this one.   Jill Shalvis writes feel good books, that leave you wanting more. Happy reading!

Naughty & Nice by Ruthie Knox, Molly O'Keefe and Stefanie Sloane

Image Room At The Inn by Ruthie Knox      I have to admit that I had some issues with this story. First off, I just felt some of the romance was missing. The romance that I like. This is a personal issue with me but I don't find a man that doesn't show up for his mothers funeral is not the type of man I want fathering my children. That just set the tone of the book for me. There are some very good moment within the story, ones that make you realize that these two should be together. If the funeral part does bother you then you should like this. All I Want for Christmas is You by Molly O'Keefe      This story was a little more about Christmas but not by much. The issues I had with this story is that it one, was over twenty years in the past. You think it starts there an then ends now, no, it stays in 1996. Second, the couple was younger then my own child. It was the age group that I would have read when I wa

Shout Out to A Favorite Author

Johanna Lindsey is one of my favorite historical authors. I've always loved her humor, and the sexy men she writes about. My all time favorite of hers is Love Me Forever.  It's hard not to fall in love with Lachlan MacGregor . His actions towards Kimberly Richards is just so sweet. Of course, he was there to steal another man's wife, but that's another story, one you'll have to find out about by reading the book. You should read Man of My Dreams first, that's where you first meet Lachlan . Johanna Lindsey writes may series, the one that I like best is her Malory/Anderson's .  I just love how Anthony and James act together. They are so funny and a little mean. Anything you read by her is enjoyable. If you have a favorite of hers, what is it? Happy reading!

Eternal Captive by Laura Wright

Image Eternal Captive is the third book in the Mark of The Vampire series. This story is about Lucian Roman and Bronwyn Kettler . The relationship between the two of them is tricky, and they had a ton of things to work out, which we get a front row seat to see. The world that Wright built is fabulous. She writes lovable, steamy characters that keep you coming back for more. Throughout this book you will cheer for both Lucian and Bronwyn , and for what they both deserve. Just so you know, this series should most likely be followed in the way they were written, the back story is better that way. Happy reading!

Christmas novella's

I love a novella, especially a free one. They give you a insight into how a author writes, or gives you a free gift from a author, making you feel good. During the holidays I read many short stories, but sometime, I feel like I've wasted my time. That's the case when I read two short stories last night. I read A White Cougar Christmas by Eliza Gayle.  I just felt like I was missing something. I do feel that it somewhat gave you a look into  what the authors is about, but wished the novella was done a little better. www.annjacobs The next one I read was by a author that I usually enjoy. I can't say that was the case this time. I read A Very Special Robot by Ann Jacobs . With this story I thought my Nook messed up and I didn't have all of the book. It just ended. I was shocked. It's not even worth reading, free or not. If you've read either, let me know what you thought of them. Happy reading!

Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione

Image As always, I love reading Larissa Ione . Her paranormal world is one that is both scary and sexy at the same time. Eternal Rider is first in the Lords of Deliverance series, but it continues from the Demonica series. This first book is about Ares and Cara Thornhart . The journey of their relationship is one filled with fear, and touching moments. As all of Ione's book you will also find a ton of humor in it. I would suggest that you read the Demonica series first, to really enjoy the Lords of Deliverance series, but it can be read without doing so. Happy reading!

Rescuing Christmas by Vicki Lewis Thompson, Catherine Mann & Kathie DeNosky

Image The holidays are a great time to read a anthology. With everyone so busy they have short stories that take no time to read. Rescuing Christmas is just that type of book. I was lucky enough to win this from a blog contest that Kathie DeNosky was running. I enjoyed all of the stories and liked how the authors kept The Haven theme going from story to story. First up... Holiday Haven by Vicki Lewis Thompson    I have to say my favorite character in this story is Max. He really brought Ben and Tansy together. It is a warm touching story. Home for Christmas by Catherine Mann     This was a story of second chances. The holidays are a wonderful time for those. You get to watch Shelby and Alex remember what they love about each other. A Puppy for Will by Kathie DeNosky    I really enjoyed this story. Harley was so cute the way he'd get out. He did a wonderful job of bring Will and Marcie together. Each
