The holidays are a great time to read a anthology. With everyone so busy they have short stories that take no time to read. Rescuing Christmas is just that type of book. I was lucky enough to win this from a blog contest that Kathie DeNosky was running. I enjoyed all of the stories and liked how the authors kept The Haven theme going from story to story. First up...

Holiday Haven by Vicki Lewis Thompson
I have to say my favorite character in this story is Max. He really brought Ben and Tansy together. It is a warm touching story.

Home for Christmas by Catherine Mann
This was a story of second chances. The holidays are a wonderful time for those. You get to watch Shelby and Alex remember what they love about each other.

A Puppy for Will by Kathie DeNosky
I really enjoyed this story. Harley was so cute the way he'd get out. He did a wonderful job of bring Will and Marcie together.

Each story on their own was good, but together, they were great. If you're a pet own this book will have special meaning for you. Those that don't own pets will see why the rest of us are so crazy about them.  The holidays wouldn't be complete without reading Rescuing Christmas. Happy reading!
