ARC Review: Ravenous by Kresley Cole

So, I'm going to start off with saying that I was excited when I was given an ARC of Ravenous. I've loved her book since I read A Hunger Like No Other. She's one of those authors that make you feel like her world and characters are real. That fact is a plus and also a "lets mess which you" Reading this I wasn't sure which was stronger. I like to read my ARC's very close to the release date so it can be very fresh in my mind. 

Saying that I can tell you that at 10 last night I was finishing a saying out loud, "what the heck was that?" This is the hardest review I've ever written. There is so much I want to say but I won't. This is one of those books that if you say too much you will ruin the feelings it gives you by reading it first-hand. I went back and forth with rating this a five-star and also a two-star. 

I felt so many emotions while reading this. I loved the characters we are introduce to while flashing over to the prior series and waiting for mention of them. Did happen. Of course, this is a new series so I should have expect that. Didn't make it any easier on me. I think the issue is that it's really the same type of world but with new characters. 

Sadly, because we do meet so many new characters, we are overwhelmed by that. It's not like you get lost or confused you just won't get the same time with them that you would if the book was only about one couple. So, if you are going into this for the romance then don't. I'm not saying that it's not romantic, it's just that the romance with each couple isn't fleshed out like you might like. 

Other than telling you that I loved the characters I'm not going to get into them too much. Meeting them and enjoy them yourself. It will be worth it. What I will tell you is at the end of the book you will be left with wanting so much more. My only thought was, "when does the next book come out," it's that kind of story.
