Reading Challenge 2023
Due to human dragon hunters killing his mother, Tristan MacLeod despises humans. Unfortunately, his clan is in desperate need of offspring to repopulate their numbers and it’s his turn to service a human female. Despite his plans to have sex with her and walk away, his inner dragon has other ideas. The curvy human female tempts his inner beast like no other.
As you might have remembered this year I've been trying to find some new authors to read. I've been enjoying it so far. I saw this one on Facebook and it looked good so I downloaded it and I'm glad I did. was intrigued by the plot and the idea of humans sacrificing themselves to dragons, not for food but to have their babies. I mean, how could I not try it? As plots go this is a new one for me.
I really loved Melanie Hall (dragons always use your full name) She is both sweet and tough at the same time. What she was willing to do for her brother is so nice. I'm not sure I could have done this. You need to read the story to understand why I say this. Having a dragon baby isn't as easy as you'd think.
I also liked Tristan even with how much he hates humans. As the story goes on you really understand what he and his sister have gone through with the loss of their mother. At times he's so overbearing and impossible then he says something that makes you remember his past.
The best part of this story is the way that Melanie Hall heals his anger toward humans or at least some humans. She always does her best to help his sister too. She's just that type of person. As a whole, the story is a good one that I really enjoyed and was glad that I took the time to read. I will be reading more in this series because I really enjoyed it. So for me, this new author is a plus.
