ARC Review: In Too Deep by Shannyn Schroeder

Love can heal...or devastate. Trouble is, the difference isn't clear until you're In Too Deep to escape...

Ronan Doyle needs the truth. He can't let his family declare their missing father dead when there are still so many unanswered questions. He's sure the Cahills have answers. After all, they're part of almost every dirty deal in Chicago. So, he'll get what he needs—even if means working for the enemy. But there is one thing he wasn't ready for. Her...

Chloe McCarthy can't believe Ronan is back home. She'd had such a crush on him in high school. Too bad he never saw past her good-girl reputation. But that all might change very soon. Her job gives her access to information Ronan needs, and that gives her access to what she needs. Ronan...

It was supposed to be a simple arrangement. He'd get information, she'd get a sexy, friend-with-benefits. But Ronan and Chloe are about to find out there's no such thing as simple when hearts are on the line.
I was so excited to see that we are finally getting Ronan's story. He really called to me when I read about him in the prior series. He wasn't in it that much but I knew I wanted his story. Then...nothing. When the newsletter came out that she was ready for Ronan to come out I was so thrilled. I couldn't wait to see who she put him with.

At first, I wasn't sure if Chloe was the right one but that only lasted a few pages. I love Chloe. She's funny, sweet, and her own person. You can't help but want the best for her. I love her little side job. She's my kind of woman.

You'll totally love Ronan. He's done all he could to change his life around but to be honest he wasn't that bad of a kid. Even when he does the right thing he gets blamed for doing the wrong. I kinda don't blame him for moving away from the old neighborhood. Of course, I don't think he needed to move so far away and it's good that he's back.

These two don't have it easy when they come together. Chloe knew more about what she wanted from Ronan but she had to deal with a mother who hated him. Ronan spent a ton of the book trying to ignore his feelings for both his family and Chloe. Of course, this is a romance so he can't do either.

You'll really enjoy both Ronan and Chloe. Their relationship starts off rocky and with a ton of baggage but it smooths out by the end and we get their happy ending. There is also a mystery within the book about the Doyle father that isn't yet answered but we get a start on it. I'm sure we will learn more with the next book.

It's wonderful to be introduced to a new family and I can't wait to read all their stories. Do yourself a favor and read first the O'Leary's and then For Your Love series. I think you'll enjoy both series very much. Have any of you read her?
