Novella Review: Real Men Bite by Celia Kyle & Marina Maddix
Zeke Soren is a born alpha—when he growls, his werewolf pack listens. Unfortunately, there’s one beautiful, bad-ass, human female who refuses to follow a single order. He’s already dealing with humans infringing on pack territory. He doesn’t need one invading his life—no matter what his wolf thinks.
The only problem is that Val is everything he’s ever wanted in an alpha female—strong, fierce, sexy, and his. He’ll just have to turn her into a werewolf. No big deal, right? Unless he’s wrong about her being his fated mate and he kills her instead.
I've really enjoyed this series so far. Each story gets better and better. What I really loved about this one is it made me laugh, a lot. I found so much of it funny. You already meet Zeke in the prior book and he's okay in it.
He seems to be very pissed at life so I was very interested in how his book would turn out. He didn't let me down. I loved him. There is so much more to Zeke than what you met before. He's complex and layered. He works so hard on keeping everyone safe. You have to give him that.
I loved Val too. She cracked me up. Tough and loving. She is one kick-ass woman. She puts poor Zeke through his paces and leads him on a merry chase.
