Today's challenge is:
An author whose books you are +2 behind on

The evil witch killed Darcia. Henry knew it because he'd seen Darcia on the floor, and all the blood. Everything felt funny and sleepy and wrong. He knew he was under a spell. The evil witch's magic spell.'

When twins Henry and Gala are kidnapped and their nanny killed, Lieutenant Eve Dallas steps in to take control. But video footage shows what appears to be their mother arriving and leaving with the obviously drugged seven-year-olds. Something is wrong, and Eve, her husband Roarke, and her brilliant team are ready to work round the clock to get the children back alive...
I'm guessing from the characters name you and kinda getting an idea what the story is based around. This is a great fast-paced story that keeps you on the edge of your seat praying for the kids.

As always I love all the characters in the book. Eve and her people work so hard to keep the people of New York safe. I always like to visit with them. You feel the pressure Eve is in with the worry for the kids. She tries hard to hide it. You know though.

It's a great ride until she finds the kids along with the evil witch who took them. This might have been a novella but you'll find it feels like it's double the pages. You don't need to read this novella to enjoy the whole series but you will enjoy it all the same. Do any of you read her?
