Review: Rebel Yule by Kate Meader

Chicago Rebels goalie Erik gets his shot at love . . . but first he'll have to figure out what he did to offend the woman he's crushed on forever.

Casey Higgins, assistant to the Chicago Rebels owner, has a smile for everyone who comes into the front office—everyone but goalie Erik Jorgenson. And he has no idea why. For the last year, she’s refused to give him a kind word, and finally, he’s had enough. At the Rebels holiday party he’ll uncover the root of their mysterious conflict and show this woman that goalkeepers do their best work . . . on their knees.

Can a little Yuletide cheer get Erik into Casey’s good graces, warm bed, and frozen heart? Or will he fumble the puck and lose his chance?
It's becoming the season of holiday romances! I'm so excited about that. We all know how much I love reading them. Have them written by one of my favorite authors and that's a high plus. Have the hero of the book love Christmas as much as me and we have a hit.

Rebel Yule is a sweet, cheerful holiday story that's a bit of a second chance romance. You'll understand that comment more when you read the book. You'll totally love Erik and Casey. They are so perfect together. Erik is a wonderful man that really cares about people and Casey is so sweet and deserves happiness.

When you find out how much Christmas decoration Erik has in his home you'll just fall in love with him. Okay, maybe that was just me but what can I say, I crush on those who decorate hardcore. What I also loved about him is how he treat Casey's cat. Not only did he let him into his home he talked to him like he was a person. So sweet!

You will also enjoy Casey. You won't be able to not feel sorry for her. Her family life isn't the best but thankfully she has friends to be there for her. Also, her cat.

Figuring out why Casey was so mad at Erik was interesting and really added to the story. You really felt for them both as you learned about the past. All of it was handled so well and added to the story.

Rebel Yule is a wonderful holiday romance that you'll be happy to read. It is also full of the characters we love in the series. If you haven't yet read this series you don't know what you're missing. Do any of you read her?

I'm not a big holiday reader but if I find one that fits I'll read it.
