Review: A Lot Like Christmas by Jennifer Snow

Here I am reading my first Christmas story of the season. Those who follow me all the time know how much I love holiday stories. On September 1st. my fall decor went up and I'm loving how the house looks. The funny part is you'd think I'd be reading books sent in fall but nope, it's Christmas for me. It might be a little easy yet but that's the life of a reviewer. 

So far I've really been enjoying Blue Moon Bay. This is only the second book in the series but the characters are so great that you want to know more about them. That always draws me to a series and keeps me reading. 

You'll love Jessica. In the early part of the book what she does with a cake will crack you up. I cheered her on. I'd tell you more but you need to experience it for yourself. You'll feel a little bad for her here she is the charm for others to get married but can't find someone for herself. 

I got why that was becoming a problem in her hometown. She loves where she lives but also feels that she won't find true happiness there. I understood her motives for wanting to maybe leave. 

Now Mitch was a little harder nut to crack. He was so focused on his good work in other countries that he forgot that people at home might need him too. He spent a long time with Doctors without Borders and shouldn't have felt guilty for thinking about not going back. It is okay to let others take up where he left off. 

I really liked the relationship between these two. Mitch enjoyed doing things with Jessica even if it was watching her bowl. She made him feel part of a community something that he hasn't felt in a while. These two work together and you'll really enjoy their story. I like that it took them a bit to come to their HEA but when they did it was wonderful. 

This is the perfect holiday story to enjoy reading while enjoying the lights of your Christmas tree. Have any of you read her?
