Eve Harris is all set to house-sit and run the bakery she shares with her sister while Maggie goes on her honeymoon, but there's one problem--the house is already occupied. By a movie star. He claims to be her brother-in-law's friend, and not only does he insist on staying, he also offers to help. Playing house has never been so tempting...

Rhys Thomas is looking for a place to lie low after wrapping up his latest film, so when Luke offers up his house as a safe haven, Rhys sees the perfect opportunity for a little R & R. But rest is the last thing on his mind as he and Eve grow close.

But Eve and Rhys are not as alone as they think. And as danger trails Eve, it will take everything Rhys has to save the woman he loves.
I've been meaning to read this since I read the first book in the series. I get distracted so easily. It happens. It's hard sometimes to pick out a book. I'm glad that I finally picked this one. I really enjoyed the first book in the series and liked this one just as much.

I think what I like about her books is that she writes a good story and they aren't too heavy. Yes, this has suspense but it doesn't take over the romance. That's what I like in my romances. If I'm reading a romance I want romance. Now, I said it's light that doesn't mean the mystery is not there because I felt that it was.

I really enjoyed Eve from the first book and when you get to know her more in her book you learn even more about her to like. She cares about her family so much. She'd do everything she could for them. And does.

I also really liked Rhys. I think what I liked about him is that he's not a weak man by any means but he's also not one of those heroes that can take on the world while drinking a beer. Sometimes you need a hero that knows enough to know when you have to call in the big guns but would not shy away from throwing themselves in front of a bullet for you.

These two together really mesh. I love how they worked together. You can really feel the caring and love that they've started to feel for each other. On top of what's going on in the book, you joined with characters that you want to know more about. As a whole, I loved this story and really need to read the next book. Have any of you read her before?

Come back on April 1st "Trivia Thursday"
