Sunday Spotlight

This year myself along with Born to Read Books are doing a few new posts. I love changing things up and around. From now on Sunday's will be Sunday spotlight, where I will talk about all things books or share a book with you. You get the idea!

Since fall is around the corner and I'm having to find things to do just so I don't decorate for it I thought I'd talk about if your reading subject, genre or general type of reading material changes when fall comes around?

I have a friend (Cyndi @ Born to Read Books) that use to read more paranormal romance during October. She loves Halloween. It's her jam!

I know during the Christmas season many of us read Christmas stories but I've often wondered about when we start to hit fall. Do you read say more suspense leaving the lighter reading for the summer or do you read it all year long but add more of a certain type of genre at different times of the year?

Unfortunately being a reviewer means I read most of my holiday (Christmas) books during fall. It seems I spent the summer reading a ton of shifter books, they just called to me. I'm a little off my seasons.

Other than Christmas seasonal books I can read most anything at any time. Sometimes even Santa visits in March.

So what about you? When do you read what? Or do you keep reading the same way all year long?

  1. I don't really read seasonal books. I pretty much read paranormal books all year round with a few other genre books sporadically.
