This is something new we (myself along with Born to Read Books) are doing this year. It's where we ask...wtf about something that's bothering us. Fun right! So here is what I want to talk about today.
Why do I keep messing up on book release days?
I know this sound sill by each week I share new books being released on Tuesday that I'm either buying or I got to review. I like to share with you all what is coming out that I'm enjoying. Here's the thing, I have post-it notes on each Tuesday in my calendar so I can write upcoming books.
I use to write them right in the calendar when I figured out that dates were different. Each at my fault or the publisher. Yes, I'm blaming the publisher. How dare they move the date after I've written it down?
Okay, so sometimes it's me too. I will admit to writing it down on the wrong that. But I have to tell you it makes me wonder. Could I really be writing it wrong or is it changing? I do know that I start writing down books but authors I enjoy the second they go up either for pre-order or are mentioned by the author. So I'm thinking its a combination of me, the author and the publisher.
I still find it annoying. I'd love for you to share your thought on the subject.
I do hate it when the publisher changes the dates. I always use my lists from Fantastic Fiction and they are pretty accurate actually.ReplyDelete
I use them a lot too. I really miss RT Book Reviews. It's harder to find out what's out.Delete
