Visiting Cooper’s Charm to check up on her little sister, Ridley Rose impulsively agrees to fill in as housekeeper. Still reeling from an ego-bruising divorce, she finds satisfaction in a job well done—and in the attention of the resort’s handsome scuba instructor.
For Phoenix and Ridley, Cooper’s Charm is supposed to be merely temporary. But this detour may lead to the place they most need to be, where the future is as satisfying as it is surprising…
I've loved Lori Foster's books for what seems like forever. She writes wonderful books with great heroes. They always seem to male driven which I enjoy.
I want to make on this straight before I continue with this review. My idea of camping is a place with room service. Not a fan of the great outdoors. I'm the type that will go for a hike and then go back to my hotel room to shower and relax in the air conditioning.
Even with saying all that I would visit Cooper's Charm in a heartbeat. Did you notice I only said visit and not stay. What can I say, I can't change my spots. Ha!
At first I wasn't sure how I'd feel about reading a series that revolves around a camping resort. I mean...
Then I started Cooper's Charm and I was Charmed! I totally love both Phoenix and her sister Ridley. These two are so close and stand for each other. I love that about them. I also really loved Cooper and Baxter. They fit the sisters perfectly.
This is such a fun romance and I liked how Cooper helped Phoenix work through the trauma she dealing with. He helped her become a stronger person while knowing she had someone strong at her back. They just worked as a couple. Phoenix also helped Cooper deal with a few things in his past too.
I also enjoyed Ridley's and Baxter's story and how it worked out for them. They cracked me up more then once. These two together are very humorous. They work, both like to give each other a hard time.
If you haven't yet read a book by Foster this is the perfect series to start. I reminded me of her older books. Just a great romance. She does add in a bit of suspense that wasn't really necessary but didn't take away from the story. I did love the puppy in the book. Animals just add to a story.
If you've read Cooper's Charm or any other books by Lori Foster I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡
