Angel Falls is the last place Sara Langdon wants to be. Her hometown may be charming, but it's also filled with memories of her "wedding-that-never-was." Yet Sara's grandmother needs her, and joining her dad at his medical practice gives Sara time to figure out what she wants for her future. But when her first patient turns out to be Colton Walker, the man who sabotaged her wedding, Sara starts to wonder if she'll ever be able to escape her past.

As police chief, Colton Walker is devoted to his small town, and he's equally determined to avoid its newest resident. He and Sara have always gotten along like oil and water, and since the bachelor party incident, he's her Enemy #1. But after sharing an unexpected--and unexpectedly hot--kiss, Colton starts to wonder if the woman he's always fighting with is the one he should be fighting for.

More often then not when I pick a book to read it's because of the author, or maybe the blurb. Sometimes it's also the reviews. I don't often pick a book because of the cover. Sure, I have been known to do so but it like 1 out of a 100 books for me.

This is my 1 out of 100. You see I picked the book because of my own front door. Here's a picture of it.

Now you tell me...it was meant to be, right? Silly I know it's not a great reason to read a book but it was enough for me.

I'm so glad that a door was enough for me to pick a book to read. I totally loved Then There Was You. The characters are wonderful. This is the start to her new Angel Falls series and I think you are going to love it.

My heart broke for Sara but felt like she blamed the wrong person for what happened in her life. It was easier to blame Colt then to truly see where the blame landed. Both her and Colt were totally innocent of fault. Tagg is the only one to blame!

These two cracked me up. It took them forever to realize that they were meant to be. One blamed the other for what wasn't his fault and the other was full of guilt. Once they started to move on from all that they finally did what we all knew they should and got together.

This is really a fun read that makes you want more from this family and town. This book helped get me though a time when my life was out of my control and I'm grateful for it's ability to whisk me away from a the bad stuff even if it was only for a little bit. For the most part this is a wonderful story, one you should really read if you love small-town romance. I did at times think that Sara was too wrapped up with what she thought Colt did to her, but I'm sure it also helped build the story.

If you've read Then There Was You or any other books by Miranda Liasson I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡
