The savvy CEO behind his family's outdoor sporting empire, TJ Garner has his choice of women. But the only one he wants is way out of bounds. Deb Bennett has been his brother Win's on and off girl since they were teenagers. And Deb's still waiting for Win to quit fooling around and realize she's The One . . .

Deb carves the ski slopes and rides the rapids like a champion--it's getting her every day life in order that's the real challenge. When she turns to Win's big brother for financial advice, TJ spontaneously offers the hard-working waitress an executive job at Garner Adventure. To Deb's surprise, the job is a blast--and so is working for TJ. She always knew he was a heartthrob, just like all the Garners, but he's charming and attentive too. Of course, given the choice between him and Win there's no contest--or is there?

Here we are at book #2 of the Gardner Brothers series. I'm sure loving this series so far! I really enjoyed the first story and have the novella on my bookshelves and need to get to it. Up this time we have TJ and Deb. Both characters we met in the prior book.

I really enjoyed TJ in the first book of the series. Yes he had a bit of tunnel vision where it came to the family business. For him nothing came before it. Or so that's the impression I got in the first book. So imagine my surprise (and his families) when he hired Deb to head up a department on her own.

Crazy!

But for them it worked. I was shocked sort of.

I wasn't at first sure how I felt about them together when she dated his brother for so long but as the book went along I started to wonder what that relationship was like? It seemed they were more buddies, that Win only was with her when he had nobody else. Makes me wonder how she's going to redeem Win in my eyes.

But as you keep reading the story you really see how much both TJ and Deb care for each other. Both thought each other was out of their touch. If they only talked. I liked how hard Deb worked to prove herself and how TJ was there to help her. She had others helping her too! She was very lucky.

What got on my nerves a bit was the way Colt kept saying that she had to go for the sake of the business. They ran into some trouble (the business) and would have to make some cuts somewhere. but it seemed like he wasn't giving her a chance to make the company any money. I wanted to slap him after like the third time of him saying how he loved Deb but she had to go.

Other then that, and let's be really it wasn't that big of a complaint, I really enjoyed the story and I'm looking forward to Win and Darcy's book. That should be fun.

If you've read Want You or any other book by Stacy Finz I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡
