When love drives you crazy . . .

When sexy Joe Malone never calls after their explosive kiss, Kylie shoves him out of her mind. Until she needs a favor, and it’s a doozy. Something precious to her has been stolen and there’s only one person with unique finder-and-fixer skills that can help—Joe. It means swallowing her pride and somehow trying to avoid the temptation to throttle him—or seduce him.

the best thing to do . . .

No, Joe didn’t call after the kiss. He’s the fun time guy, not the forever guy. And Kylie, after all she’s been through, deserves a good man who will stay. But everything about Kylie makes it damned hard to focus, and though his brain knows what he has to do, his heart isn’t getting the memo.

… is enjoy the ride.

As Kylie and Joe go on the scavenger hunt of their lives, they discover surprising things about each other. Now, the best way for them to get over “that kiss” might just be to replace it with a hundred more.

Sometimes you love a book so much that when it comes time to write the review the words are all pushing out of head at once making now sense at all. About That Kiss is one of those books for me. I just loved it so. It was full of all the things I love about books from Jill Shalvis. Great characters, wonderful story line and humor. I always laugh while reading her books. I hope to get this review to sound good but I'm not holding my breath.

I've been waiting for Joe's story since he came on the scene. Okay, it hasn't really been a long time per se, but because he is just such a strong character he commanded attention. Not to worry, he got it from me. Besides Archer he is one of my favorite heroes. Lucas might be a close second or third. Until I read his story I won't know.

I was totally right to think he would be a great hero. He turned out wonderfully. I love the interaction between him and Kylie. It's so funny how poor Joe fell in love. I pretty sure we all knew it before him. He wanted to protect her so badly, even from himself.

Both Joe and Kylie have their issues. Neither of their issues are as life shattering as they think. Of course it's always harder to see your own truth. They  started to help each other work out their issues without even knowing it.

Both Joe and Kylie had parent issues, don't we all. Part of what made the story so good for me was the way they dealt with their parents. Joe's dad has a bigger part in the story then Kylie's mom does. I have to admit that I love Joe's dad. He was so funny. His issues aren't but his actions with his kids are.

I also liked the other characters that work with Joe. They cracked me up more then once. You can't help laughing at them and with them. As friends good this whole group is so much fun to read about. They are always there for each other even when it's to get to other person a hard time.

I really think you'll enjoy this story, but to make it even better you need to start the series from the beginning and work yourself out. Each book builds the relationship between each character and the world they life in. Once you start this series you won't want to stop.
