Book Club Thursday: Clearing Off the Bookshelves

Welcome back to Book Club Thursday!

This week we are doing...

I'm pretty sure we all can agree with have more books that need reading then what we can read. I buy way to many! What can I say it's a illness. One I'm happy to keep. This year for Book Club Thursday we won't be doing as many Clearing Off the Bookshelves but we do understand that we both need it badly and that why we kept it for a few posts.

WARRIOR OF HEAVEN

Reaver is an angel with a past, a record, and a less-than-heavenly attitude. Powerful enough to fight alongside the fiercest battle angels-and crazy enough to risk his wings on a one-way mission to hell-he's agreed to go where no angel has ever gone before...to steal the most seductive and dangerous prize of Satan himself.

ANGEL OF HELL

Harvester is one of the Fallen, a once-heroic angel who sacrificed her wings to work as an undercover agent in hell. But now her cover has been blown, and she's been doomed to an eternity of agonizing torture. Even if Reaver can snatch her away from Satan's lair, even if they can fight their way out of the underworld's darkest depths, there is one thing Harvester can never escape-her newfound thirst for an angel's blood...

I so love this series. Yes, I got somewhat behind but that doesn't stop by from really enjoying it. It's one of my favorite paranormal series. I just love the characters.

I've spoken in past reviews about some authors do wonderful job at writing hero driven books and I would have to say that Ione is one of those authors.

I think that's one of the reasons I really enjoy her books. Her hero's always call to me. They are just so...hot!

For a while you've wanted both Reaver's & Harvester's stories. I wasn't always sure if I wanted them together but the author really changed my mind. I believe this story is very important in the series. So much comes out. I wrote in my review notes...surprises, surprises. I think that says a lot.

This story was full of them. Some good, some not so much.

As I mentioned I wasn't sure how I felt about Reaver and Harvester being together but in the end I will admit that worked perfectly together. They fit! So much happens in the story that I felt I couldn't put it down until I was totally done with it. I really didn't want to miss anything. Silly I know, but that's the feeling I got reading this.

The story moved so fast I was able to just sit down and read the full story in one seating. When I was done with this one I had to force myself not to pick up the next book in the series right away. I waited a day. It was a novella so I knew I'd be able to get through it quickly. I'll review is soon.

If you are looking for a paranormal series where you can really get into the characters and their world then this one is for you! Try to read them in order because I think you'll enjoy them better that way. Happy reading! ♡

So what about you? What book have you recently cleared off your shelves?
