Cai, who has been in dark sleep since his enemies buried him centuries ago, emerges into a brand new world. His rescuer is a beautiful human woman he desires, but touching her will hurt her more than he can stand. He’s already lost everyone dear to him and refuses to lose her as well, but when danger comes, the only choices they can make are heartbreaking ones.
I so very much love the Immortal series. I can remember back in the day my girl friends and I reading it. We just loved each story that went into the series. I miss series like that. Where it's one world, and each different author writes their story in it.
I will tell you right off the bat that Forbidden Taste is a stand alone, even if it's with the series. I myself wouldn't read the story out of line because of a character that's mentioned. You all know that I love reading in order.
Plus, this is a wonderful series that I know you'd love too!
I really enjoyed Cia and Mariah. Cia is a vampire and Mariah a telepath. Each different, but yet they needed each other. Right away you find yourself cheering them on. You know they would be good for each other and want them to be happy.
This is only a novella but it doesn't read that way. I really felt like I was getting a full length story. Which I did, but only in novella length! Ha! I love the world that Cia & Mariah live in. I'm so glad I was able to get back to it and hope there's more coming!
Remember, think about reading this series from the beginning. It's summer, perfect time to sit in the sun and enjoy a good series.
If you've read Forbidden Taste, or any of the books in the Immortal series I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading! ♡

Oh, how I LOVED these books. If I'm recalling correctly, ALL of them were so good, no clunkers. I agree, I love a series written by different authors set in the same world, like these.
ReplyDeleteYes, they were all very good! I liked the whole series.
