A Blast From the Past
I love reviewing books that I've read in the past. Many times I will quickly reread them for these post just so I can truly remember what they are about. To pick a book I go to my book binder that holds the list of books I've read since June of 2005 (I have two books, one couldn't hold them all) fan the pages and point. Whatever my finger lands on I dig the book out of the ones in the basement and read it. Don't get me wrong I do a quick read of it since I've already read it before, I read enough to remember and and enjoy it again.
So here we go...fanning the pages...I've picked...

I have to tell you I just love this series. I can still remember reading the first story in this series and getting lost in the world that Ione had created. My only thought as I read Pleasure Unbound was that I wanted more. That we got. The series is 11 books strong with some novellas mixed in.
I really wish she was still writing full length stories for this series but I won't complain to much since I still get a novella or two a year for it.
Shade is one of the core brothers from the beginning of the series. He, like his brothers is part Seminus demon and because of that he likes sex, a lot! He doesn't only like it he needs it, it's part of who and what he is.
Desire Unchained is a second chance romance. Both Shade and Runa knew each other and had a relationship in the past. Before the shit hits the fan for them both. Because of that past they aren't exactly happy to see each other again.
That's the funny part of life, it doesn't always go which way you'd want it to, for humans or paranormal's.
I have to say, that I'm glad I got a chance to reread this story. I really enjoyed it again. I love the characters and the writing is so good. You will feel so bad for Runa who until meeting Shade wasn't part of the paranormal world, in fact she had no clue about it.
Of course things happen for a reason and by the end of the book they are both happy for what has happened. See what I did there, I'm telling you they are happy without telling how that becomes. That's because I really think you should read it for yourself.
Summer is here and you'll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy this wonderful series!
