Maggie Chavez is in protective custody with a member of her former lover's SEAL team. Joe, her ex-lover, thinks Maggie is hiding information from him about a powerful drug lord and the deaths of some SEALs. He intends to seduce her and get the information before she can sell it back to the drug cartel. But the desire crackles between them and their attraction is undeniable. How can Joe use her and leave her, when all he wants is to hold her close and never let go?

As I was reading For Maggie's Sake something was weird about this story. At first I couldn't put my finger on it. I just kept having a deja vu moment. Finally I couldn't take it any more and had to find out why I felt like I've read this story before.

Well it turned out that I had read this story before. It was in a anthology called, Real Men Do It Better back in 2007. Since I liked the story and I was already close to the midway point I continued to read it.

I have to say that I once again enjoyed it. Leigh is very good at writing very dominate male characters. But they are also very loving. A mixed bag to say the least.

A ton of action is back in the novella. You won't be able to put the story down until your sure everyone is safe and sound.

If you've read For Maggie's Sake or any other book by Lora Leigh I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading!
