With Immortal good looks and scorching charisma, Justin Bricker has yet to meet a woman he can't win over. His potential life mate should be no different. But instead of falling into his bed, Holly Bosley runs away and ends up mortally wounded. To save her, he has to turn her. And then Bricker learns the shocking truth: Holly's already married.

Holly wakes up with a bump on her head, a craving for blood, and a sexy stranger who insists they belong together. She needs Bricker's help to control her new abilities, even as she tries to resist his relentless seduction. Choosing between the world she knows and the eternity he offers is impossible. But Justin is fighting for his life mate—maybe even his life—and he'll break every rule to do it…

I can't believe I've let myself get behind on Sands. I usually read her the second I get the books. I've been a naughty girl.

From the second Bricker was introduced to the series he cracked me up. I just love how much he loved life. He is funny, sweet and caring. You won't be able to not want him in your life. Of course he's also pissed off a few immortals along the way. (this is one of the ways he's cracked me up)

One of the things I love about Sands life mates is that you never know when the immortals are going to find them. Sometimes they are in their twenties other times, in their sixties.

And sometimes life mates are already married!!!

I had mixed feeling about this story. I think one of the reasons is that Bricker is one of my favorite character of hers besides Lucian & the twins.

At times I didn't like how she treated him. I know that part of it wasn't her fault. The guys really messed with Bricker giving him bad information, but still. By the time the story was over so was I. I just never felt that Holly was good enough.

On her own she's likable enough, just sort of a know-it-all. She makes a ton of mistakes and gets away with it.

Lucian! Why aren't you on the job?

I'm sad that one of my favorite guys doesn't have one of my favorite stories. And before you say its because I like him too much, I'll remind everyone that I loved Lucian's story and thought it very funny.

If you've read About a Vampire or any other book by Lynsay Sands I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for visiting and happy reading!
