As I've mentioned before I'm not a fan of the motorcycle romance. So what does a person do when one of their favorite authors decide she wants to write a series about guys in a motorcycle club?

She sucks it up and reads it that's what she does.

Since I do love Kaye's books I did suck it up and of course I'm glad it did. To let you in on a little secret I knew I'd like it because I read Hard as Steel and enjoyed that. For those of you who don't think you'd be into a motorcycle club book but loved her other series let me put your mind to rest.

Ride Hard has all the suspense you might want in your romantic suspense, but front and center is the romance.

A big plus to me. I hate when the suspense over-rides the romance.

I think you'll love both Dare and Haven. In fact you'll love the whole club. Many of the characters drew me to them and I'd like to have their stories. I'm not going to name names because the story is much more enjoyable when you can read the facts and meet the characters on your own.

Like I said, the romance is the most important part of the story so you really get to know both Dare and Haven. You'll learn so much about their back story and what makes them tick. I really loved how Dare wanted to help Haven grow, even when he tired to stay away from her.

But because this is a romantic suspense there are some heartbreaking moments (again, not telling you). We will also get a visit from the Hard Ink guys. Love them! You don't need to read the Hard Ink series to read this one, not sure why you won't, she's that good. I would read Hard Steel though, it kind of sets up the series.
