The Undoing
Call of the Crows #2
By Shelly Laurenston
Publish Date 3/29/16

No one would ever accuse Jace Berisha of having an easy life--considering her husband…you know…killed her. But that was then! Now she fights for mighty Viking gods with the spectacular and vicious Crows.

But things are turning very bad, very quickly because a vengeful, ancient goddess has come into the world with just one thing on her mind--ending it. And the only way they can hope to stop her is if the Crows join forces with their one-time enemies, the Protectors. A Viking Clan created to do nothing but kill every Crow they see.

Thankfully, Protector Ski Eriksen is a peace loving kind of guy. Because the woman he is desperately trying to get close to is the beautiful and not-very-chatty Jace. Battling Nordic clans? Unkillable goddesses? Jace's mean-spirited dog? None of these things would ever get in the way of a true Viking!

When I decided to do Read a Pee in Your Pants Read, I knew just who I wanted that to be. Did you notice I said Who instead of What? Well that's because for me only one author pushes me far enough to laugh so much I need to pee.

I'm not saying that there aren't other authors that I don't laugh with, I'm just saying that Laurenston works my funny bone.

If you haven't yet read her you don't know what you're missing. She writes great stories with characters that you want to be friends with. Or at least know from a distance. (Many of them seem to attract violence)

The Undoing is #2 in her new series and I have to say now that I'm over the fact that she has moved on from her other series I'm really enjoying this one. The whole idea of the series is good.

I love the characters. They crack me up. But there is more to them then making me laugh. Laurenston has this ability to show all the sides of a character and makes you really feel for them.

I really enjoyed The Undoing. I have to admit I have a thing for smart, hot guys and The Protectors just do it for me. I think you're going to love them.

Jace is such a great character, so much has happened to her in such a short life. She's never really had anyone on her side before other then her grandmother and most people don't really understand her...

The Protectors do!

You won't only like Jace, you'll love Ski! He's so smart and protective. He spends his days taking care of those around him. I couldn't get enough of him.

This is a great story that you'll want to read over and over. It will cheer you up on a cold winters day! As much as I liked The Undoing, I'm sad that I have to wait until the next one comes out and it's way to long of a time to wait! The Undoing will be out on March 29th!

If you've read The Undoing or any other book by Shelly Laurenston I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for visiting and happy reading!

On March 3rd we will be doing "Clearing off the Shelves"
