Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues-and falls for-a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust. But with hints of a troubling history of his own, he’s also the kind of man who can be very dangerous . . .
Reseph may not know why he mysteriously appeared in Jillian’s life, but he knows he wants to stay. Yet when Jillian’s neighbors are killed, and demon hunters arrive on the scene, Reseph fears that he’s putting Jillian in danger. And once it’s revealed that Reseph is also Pestilence, the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world, he and Jillian must face the greatest challenge of all: Can they forget the horrors of a chilling past to save the future they both desire?

Air Force veteran Larissa Ione traded in a career as a meteorologist to pursue her passion of writing. She has since published dozens of books, hit several bestseller lists, including the New York Times and USA Today, and has been nominated for a RITA award. She now spends her days in pajamas with her computer, strong coffee, and supernatural worlds. She believes in celebrating everything, and would never be caught without a bottle of Champagne chilling in the fridge…just in case. She currently lives in Wisconsin with her U.S. Coast Guard husband, her teenage son, a rescue cat named Vegas, and her very own hellhound, a King Shepherd named Hexe.

What a great way to put new life into a series, add a sub-series to it. We started out with the Demonica series and went into the Lords of Deliverance seamlessly. I would be hard-pressed to say which series I liked better.

I think what's special about Rogue Rider is that it the last of the houseman books, or is it? I do have to keep reading to find out. Ha! You really hate Reseph and worry that he is irredeemable. He did so many bad things. Not that he was the first and only one in either series that did bad things, or would be the last, but his...

I guess if you have a little heavenly help, anything is possible.

So if Reseph isn't a horrible person anymore who should he be with???? Maybe a woman that hates demons. Yep, great match! The funny part is that it is a great match. They both can learn how to heal each other.

Even after all the bad Reseph has done you'll love him. There is just something about him that draws you to him. You see flashes of who the real man is along with his regret about what he's done. You also find out how strong of a person Jillian is. She pushes aside all her fears to be with him and believe in him.

Like all the books written by Larissa Ione you'll find Rouge Rider to be well-written with funny complex characters. You'll be able to visit with some great past characters too! This is one of my favorite series. I know how ironic that statement is since I'm behind on it. But remember, I have them all so even without being caught up, I know they are worth buying.

If you've read Rogue Rider, or any other book by Larissa Ione I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
