Who shall it be who will marry me?
Duke, Earl, a powerful marquess?
When my heart is given to Fyclan Morris…
In New York Times bestselling author Cathy Maxwell’s new novella, beautiful Jennifer Tarleton has no lack of noble suitors, but the only man who captures her attention is the one her father will never let her marry: Fyclan Morris. He’s a brash adventurer, witty, courageous…and Irish! Even worse, her father blames her for their reversal of fortune…
And it’s a fortune—or rather his grandmother the fortune teller—who foretold that Fyclan would meet “the one”, a love prophesied in the stars. He vows nothing will stand in the way of making Jennifer his bride, but is the price too high? Or is a thing called love worth every challenge?

My thoughts....
Because I don't read that many historical's anymore the ones I do have to really pull me in from the first page and keep me engrossed. I'm happy to say that A Little Thing Called Love did just that.
If you haven't yet read Cathy Maxwell (at this thought I've just gasped) this is the perfect book to read. Because it's a novella you'll get a taste of what she's putting out there.
What I enjoyed so much was the fact that for a novella it felt like a full story. It didn't leave you missing anything. There is nothing worse then reading a novella and feel like half the book is still missing.
You'll just love both Fyclan and Jennifer. He's such a cool guy. I just love how he believes so much in his grandmother's prediction for him to find "the one".
Jennifer might be his "the one" but it's not going to be easy for them to get together. She comes from a bunch of users.
I really loved A Little Thing Called Love (even if the song played in my head, over and over and over and over, you getting what I putting down?) it's full or romance and humor two pluses for me.
I want more of this new series.
If you've read A Little Thing Called Love or any other book by Cathy Maxwell I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
