My Thoughts....
I have been in love with Mariah Stewarts The Chesapeake Diaries Series from the beginning! Every time a new one comes out I can't wait to read it. The town is the type of town you hope you'd grow up in. It's all that we like about small-towns. In That Chesapeake Summer you really get to know Daniel Sinclair. He's been mentioned and had very small parts in other books but you just didn't get to know him as a person. In fact he always seemed cold and slightly uptight and uncaring. When you read That Chesapeake Summer you'll know that's nowhere close to the truth. I ended up loving him and I'm shocked by it. He's more then what he shows the world. In fact, he ends up being perfect for Jamie. She needs the type of person that stands by her side, yet will push her when needed. Their story is a very good one and I think you'll just love it. If you haven't yet read this series you don't want to miss them. Happy reading!
