Two
wandering souls discover that true love needs no words in this
explosive, fantastical novel from Vonnie Davis.
Somehow able to telepathically communicate with animals, Paisley Munro has found meaning in her so-called gifts by working as a veterinary assistant. But while traveling to Scotland for a relative’s funeral, Paisley fears that she really has lost her mind. Out in the highlands, she hears distinctly human thoughts coming from a wild bear. Terrified and desperate, she returns to the lodge and collapses in the powerful arms of its owner, a mysterious man with whom she shares a simmering attraction.
Creighton Matheson and his fellow shape-shifters have been roaming this land freely for centuries. Now Paisley may inherit his home, putting his kind in grave danger. His mistrust only deepens when he realizes she can read his mind. Yet he cannot deny that this tantalizing woman makes him burn with desire—and hunger for the prospect of a tender love. Now Creighton must decide which would hurt more: revealing the truth or losing Paisley forever.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret...I love bear shifters and highlanders. Can you just imagine what I felt when I saw the tour come up for A Highlander's Obsession and read what it was about, it wasn't pretty and I needed a nap afterwards. I will get the negatives out about this book first, Paisley cried to much for me. Now that we have that out of the way lets talk about all the things I LOVED about the book. The whole thing!!! The characters are great and funny. Plus lets not forget the sexy, highlander bear shifter part! One of my favorite characters is Paisley's grandmother, the women is a hoot! This is a great story that will leave you wanting more. Like checking Davis's website over and over again, praying that the date for the next book has moved up. Sadly it hasn't. Do yourself a favor and read this story. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of it. Remember, SEXY HIGHLANDER BEAR SHIFTERS!!!!!!!! Happy Reading!

Thank you for hosting my book tour AND for taking the time to read and review my book. I love Gram too. She has a lot of me in her...well, except for the pink hair...and the skinny part. Book two is just about ready to go to the editors and you'll be seeing more of spunky Gram pushing Bryce and Kenzie back together. Thanks for the lovely review.
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome. I'm so glad that Gram isn't done yet!
