Book Club Thursday: All About Sex

After 50 Shades of Grey it seems like everyone started writing erotica and we thought it would make for a good theme this week. Do you enjoy reading books with a darker, grittier sex in it? Are you okay with multiple partners? How about same sex? Or maybe you're more of a bondage person?

Let's find out what we like together!

I will admit that I have been reading erotica for a very long time. Way before it became so popular. But I'm very picky with what I will read. Now a days you'll have many mainstream romances with a more sexy kind of sex. Not really erotica, but pretty close. Here are some books that tip the scales to the dark side.

I can remember one of my favorite series is The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy.

I can still remember my shock when I first read this series. It wasn't that I was a sheltered, but this was way more then I was use to. The first book, The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty came out in March 1983. If you haven't read this series and like erotic romance then you should try it. It really is a classic.

Anne Rice isn't the only author I like, here is another that I think you'd like. Jaid Black. She has a great, sexy series called, Trek Mi Q'an.

The first book in this series is, The Empress New Clothes, and I feel in love with this world. Jaid Black just drew me in to her world and kept me there. She also has a viking series that pretty hot too.

Let's talk about those books that are a little hotter with multiple partners and bondage.

I've enjoyed a few different authors that have really dragged me into their world.

Theolyn Boese has the wonderful series called Ta'e'sha Chronicles. You will have multiple partners and same sex. This is a very romantic series. I love them and really want more.

Another favorite of mine is Leah Brooke's. She writes a great series called Desire, Oklahoma. This is about a whole town that gets into multiple partners and S&M. The men rule over everything and the ladies like it. I couldn't live there but I'd love to visit.

I've left the hottest one for the end. I can't tell you how much I love Jet Mykles Dark Elves. These guys and so dark and sexy. You won't be able to put this book down once you start reading them. I just wish she would write more.

These are only a few of the authors and series I like. There are way to many to add to this post. All I can say is that I do like erotica. So what about you? Do you like erotic or is it to much for you? Share your favorite authors. We'd love to hear your opinion. Don't forget to stop by my fellow bloggers and see what they think about sex in books.

Stop by on June 19th when we will be doing a Paige Tyler signed book giveaway.
