Book Review: Immortally Yours by Lynsay Sands

One hundred and twenty-five years is a long time to nurse a crush. That’s how long it’s been since Beth Argenis first met Cullen “Scotty” MacDonald and he instantly became the star of her most X-rated dreams. Back then, he was rescuing her from a Rogue Immortal. Now Beth’s a Rogue Hunter—a damn good one. She doesn’t need saving anymore, despite what Scotty thinks. What she does need is the fierce, wild desire that finally erupts between them.

Scotty has hesitated to claim Beth as his own. But one explosive kiss confirms what he’s long suspected: She’s his life mate. But Beth is tough, fearless, beautiful…and in immortal danger. Unless he wants to lose her forever, he’ll have to rethink everything he once believed about love and destiny as well as confront an enemy who’s terrifyingly close.
I've been trying to catch up on my paranormal Lynsay Sands. I took a break from this series and then started reading it again. I'm so glad I did. Right away I realized why I liked them so much. The touches of humor always make these such a better story.

This is one of those stories that if they just talked to each other, it would have cleared everything up. Of course, that would me it was a very short story. The misunderstanding help shape the story even if they piss you off.

I really liked both Scotty and Beth. I understand to a point why he kept the fact that they were life mates from her. But at some point, before it all came out, he should have talked to her. Yes when she was turned it was a horrible time for her. She went through a lot. But as time went on, she grew in strength mentally and physically.

When her life is in danger Scotty won't leave, he side with does nothing but upset Beth. She feels like she's able to take care of herself and doesn't need his protection. He on the other hand can't let anything happen to his life mate.

Because these two can't see eye to eye it makes for some humors moments. I also show how talking to each other is very important. A ton of feelings happen within the story but in the end, you'll be so happy you felt them all.
