I do love a good holiday book. There is something about the holidays that give you that warm feeling that you want to share with everyone.
So when I got a chance to read A Kindled Winter I jumped at the chance. I'm not always a huge fan of second chance romances but that didn't stop me from giving A Kindled Winter a try.
It didn't hurt that the cover is so pretty! It's the first thing that drew me to the book, even before I knew it was a Christmas story.
Speaking of the cover after I read the story for me it really fit. I know that sounds weird so let me explain. The cover looks very winter holiday but yet....there is a underlining sadness too.
Not sure if I feel this way because I read the book or not. You'll have to read it and let me know.
I really enjoyed A Kindled Winter. It doesn't have what I'd call a light romantic story line. There are some deep feels in this story. At times it broke my heart.
I really enjoyed the characters and will be honest didn't want to put the book down until I was done. You'll really enjoy their struggles and the way they deal with them.
If you're looking for that one story that will make you cry and cheer for the characters then A Kindled Winter is the story for you.
